This was a fun shoot where I had the chance to use multiple banks of soft lighting rigged up around the stage, with a mass of writhing athletic circus bodies and I got to shoot 10 meters above them whilst harnessed into the ceiling truss - my favourite kind of shoot! The show was created in collaboration with Australian playwright Stephen Sewell (Animal Kingdom, Sisters) and director Zebastian Hunter. Produced and staged at NICA. Set and costume design thanks to Stephanie Howe. Empty Bodies delves into the psyche of what makes us human and explores our life from birth to death as we attempt to find meaning in our lives.
